Salsa Güey

Layered with flavors and heat. This salsa was inspired by a ‘dude’ that needed more heat from Salsita. Hence- Salsa Güey. This is an oil-based salsa comprised of toasted sesame seeds, spicy chile de árbol, smoked chile morita, and garlic. 

Simple in it’s ingredients but complex in its flavors.  Originating in the state of Vera Cruz. This salsa can be used as a marinade for chicken, fish, or vegetables. Delicious on avocado toast and as a spicy chile oil. 

• Ingredients: Olive oil, chiles, garlic, sesame seeds, salt
• This salsa will last months. Refrigerate after opening to keep longer- this oil based salsa will coagulate when cold. I leave my salsa out on the counter because I use it so often. The olive oil should help to preserve the salsa. 
• Handmade in small batches. Ships anywhere in the US. 9 oz.
