Thyroid Care - How it Works:
Thyroid Care is formulated to provide targeted support for the thyroid gland. A healthy thyroid gland is important for proper metabolism and immune system function. This formula provides iodine and l-tyrosine, which are required by the thyroid in order to synthesize thyroid hormones.

• Iodine - Iodine intake is required for the synthesis of thyroid hormones. Low iodine intake, or iodine deficiency, is associated with hypothyroidism. The median US urinary iodine excretion fell from 320 mcg/d to 145 mcg/d between the early 1970s and the early 1990s and some subsets of the population may be at increased risk for moderate iodine deficiency.   Molecular iodine
