Magnesium CitraMate – Formula Change
In an effort to provide the best quality products, we have made a Magnesium CitraMate formula change. Whereas it previously contained 150 mg of elemental magnesium per capsule, it now contains 135 mg per capsule. The citrate and malate that the magnesium is bound to for enhanced absorption over other forms of magnesium take up a lot of room in the capsule. Since we do not use magnesium stearate, it was difficult to squeeze 150 mg of this well-absorbed form of magnesium into our largest capsules. The attempts to do so often resulted in the capsules not locking properly and loose powder appearing in the bottle. This slight decrease should alleviate this problem.
